By Rachel Choi – 20 Comments
Decreasing while working with single crochet stitches is easy! Here is the link to the traditional method for making a single crochet decrease: How to Crochet: Single Crochet Decrease. The problem with the traditional method is that sometimes it leaves gaps and holes in your work. In this tutorial I will show you the “invisible decrease” method, which as the name implies is more invisible, and less noticeable."

Heres what is on my craft table this week

It's crazy around here these days! My oldest daughter is going to have here first baby in August and is getting married in 2 weeks.
Here is what is on my craft table this week. I crocheted her a bridal garter, pattern here I'm also making her wedding dress (not formal) and I tossed some baby shoes in there for fun!

Don't be hatin. My new craft table

This is my new craft table. My husband built it on top of a iron board frame so it can be folded up and hang on the wall when I need it out of the way. Its 36 inches deep and 2.5 yards long. As you can see, I can lay out a whole dress pattern and leave it there when I have to walk away.
I use to use the dining table, but if I was cutting out a tricky pattern and needed to stop to go do something else I couldnt leave my work on the table. Now I can leave it for ever if I want!

Loving my new craft room!

Minion hat

I made this hat up as I went. I started out using Sarah’srepeatcrafterme.com Owl hat child size.. Like the hats in previous posts. (I love her patterns!)
When I got to round-9 I changed the yarn to black and followed the instructions for rounds 9-11 in black, then changed the color back to yellow and finished rounds 12-13. Then I did 1 round in blue of DC’s and followed the instructions to finish the hat. I made a single eye like the owl eyes only the final round of single stitches using gray, I worked in on the chain loop facing me only so that it made the gray/silver look more 3-D to look like goggles.
I did use a G-hook because I wanted the hat smaller.

Crochet gifts are not cheap. They are made with love!

Something to think about!

More owl hats by Knotty Becca!

Another owl hat that I churned out. These are so much fun!

This hat is being modeled by the one and only Hulk Hogan. :) Not bad on such a short notice!

This is not my pattern. I have to give all the credit to fellow crafter, Sarah @RepeatCrafterMe.com.
Her patterns are so well written, and she has graciously shared several of her patterns on her web site.
